Palladium-Catalyzed Direct Mono- and Diarylation of Diphenydithienylethenes: A Useful Method for Enhancing Fluorescence Intensity and Aggregation-Induced Emission

چکیده
In this study we report efficient method for the syntheses of mono- and diarylated diphenyldithienylethene (DPDTE) via a palladium-catalyzed C–H arylation reaction. These new derivatives showed amplified luminescent properties thanks to change in polarity, particularly presence an electron-withdrawing groups (EWG). Moreover, arylated DPDTEs dual-emissive phenomena, including fluorescence organic solvents aggregation-induced emission.

Palladium(II)-catalyzed direct alkenylation of dihydropyranones.
A palladium(II)-catalyzed direct alkenylation reaction of dihydropyranones was developed. Various substituted dihydropyranones could afford the desired products in reasonable yields. And different acrylates were found to be good coupling partners in this coupling reaction. A Pd(0)/Pd(II) catalytic pathway was proposed to be involved in this coupling reaction.
